Peonies~

My plants are starting to get buds and I even got a flower, I'm so excited! For the longest time, I have envied those luscious bouquets of peonies at the farmers market. Last year, I finally decided to get my own bushes and they are taking off like crazy.

The buds are huge, and I absolutely love the flowers and the way they smell. I will be in peonies heaven when they all bloom!

Planter of all kinds~

Every time I see a rusted container I instantly think planter. Usually they are pretty cheap at sales and they look fantastic in flower beds. I found the large tool chest for $1.50 and couldn't pass it up. The others were less then a dollar. Not quite as pretty as the tool boxes below, but I think these will make great planters.
Adding the china and mixing up your flowers types, makes your planters all the more special.

I still need a few more things to add to my garden. I am heading out in the morning junkin with some friends, rummage sales seem to be in full BLOOM around my town!

Coffee sacks and burlap~

Found this great little place of inspiration RocknCoutour. They have bags and pillows made out of burlap and old coffee sacks, who would of thought burlap could be so elegant.

I picked up a few sacks last summer for a $1.00 each at an old hardware store. I wasn't sure what I was going to use them for, but now the projects can start.

Knock offs~

Who doesn't love looking through the Pottery Barn catalog, do you fall in love with almost everything in there?  They sell furniture, art, linens and even clothes pins as vase fillers. They have the most incredible things, but at a price.

I feel in love with this airplane art piece, it would look fantastic in my son's room but at $299.00 knew it wasn't in my budget. I come across this blog called Knock off Decor, they link you to others who have made these and give directions on how you can make your own for next to nothing.

They also have knock offs  from Anthropologie, Wisteria, Ballard Designs and more.  I found tons of ideas to put on my to do list.

Imitation is one of the highest forms of flattery!

Table dressings~

Are you always looking for ideas of ways to dress your dinning, hall or coffee table? Maybe friends are coming over or you just cleaned the house and want something pretty on your table.  These ideas would work on you outdoor tables as well.

I love the ribbon wrapped around this glass container below, it has some many possibilities. You could use any color of ribbon to coordinate with you flower color and or theme of your room or occasion.
Everyone has some kind of glass containers laying around.  Could be different size jars or glass bottles, put some greens in them from around your yard and you have a great arrangement.
Artichokes are the coolest, even just a few with some other greens would make big statement.  They look great in a large bowl too!
I am always looking for inspiration, leave me a comment with your link.  I enjoy reading all of your blogs and leaving comments.
